SnippetHub is just for you - it allows you to write down all the things you want to keep and then quickly retrieve them when you need to (allowing you to search on any word or phrase).
SnippetHub is currently in beta testing and can be downloaded below. It comes in two versions - Professional and Lite. The Lite version will be free of charge. See the list of features in each edition. SnippetHub Professional Beta has a 60-day trial expiry by which time a new beta version will be available to download. After the 60 days, it will turn into SnippetHub Lite. SnippetHub Lite Beta is not time-limited and does not expire.

Features in SnippetHub include:
Views (Professional edition) allows you to see your snippets sorted in different ways. There are five different choices:
A powerful Search facility (Both editions) enables you to quickly find the information you are looking for. You can include the date created and date last edited in your searches.
Filter Snippet Titles and Text (Professional edition) allows you to see a list of Snippets (which will appear on the left hand side panel) containing the text that you type in the Filter Titles and Filter Text edit boxes.
The Snippet History (Professional edition) drop-down allows you to view the latest snippets that you have accessed and to quickly reload any you want to view again.
You can easily Import and Export data to and from SnippetHub (Both editions). Snippets can be exported in plain text, rich text, html and xml formats.
